Today we bring you The Freya Belt by "Tribalwitch Amulet Collection" inspired by amulets, talismans and symbols of magical and ancestral protection.
This listing is for a handmade Norse Amulet Belt that you can wear tied at the hip, waist and/or neck to give lot of flattering curves creating layered styles by accentuating and holding the fabric on large dresses or baggy blouses.
You can wear it in multiple ways, no limit to your creativity !
The Troll Cross Belt is perfect for Celtic, pagan or larp/medieval looks.
You can assemble the Larp, medieval or Viking costumes by hanging small bags among other objects but keep in mind that our belts are made from recycled fabrics and usually do not have the same texture and elasticity.
The width and tension of the braids vary depending on the textile we receive, being a recycled material many times the material is different and variations occur even in the colors.
*If you have a preference in any specific colour/shade please let me know.

This Troll Cross amulet is made in Spain by an blacksmith artisan specialized in medieval pieces such as axes, swords and elms.
Currently you can find the Troll Cross made in various materials, in different styles and designs.
These Troll Cross is not made of magnetic metal.
This Troll Cross piece was designed and made exclusively for TribalWitch Designs.
The Troll Cross is an amulet widely used in Spain also as a symbol of protection.
We will launch this Troll Cross piece as ornaments in other hand-woven pieces such as shawls and Nordic fur mantles .
Braided belts are accessories widely used in early medieval eras.
Viking-era belts were leather, and considerably narrower than belts later came to be. There were no belt loops in a tunic, so any excess length was knotted around the belt and allowed to hang freely. The free end was weighted with a decorative strap end.
As in the men's case, Viking women also wore belts, historical findings suggest that women's belts were made of woven fabric, rather than leather, just as this Troll Cross Belt was inspired.
The Troll cross is an amulet in the shape of a circle, usually made of iron material. The circle is crossed at the bottom and is a charm used by the early Scandinavian people as a protection against trolls and elves, as it is believed that iron and crosses served as a shield against evil creatures, in this case, trolls and elves.
Materials: recycled textile, metal beads
